When you get in touch

When you submit the contact form, your name, work email, optional company and message are sent over HTTPS to our website backend and forwarded to info@kantona.ee through Infonet’s mail service. We and our business email providers process this correspondence to respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible business relationship. Your email address is included as the reply address so our team can respond directly. Please avoid including confidential documents, passwords or sensitive personal information.

Responding to a request about a possible service is processing necessary to take steps at your request before a contract, where applicable. Other business correspondence is handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Correspondence is kept while needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting relationship, and where required to retain business records. You can ask us to delete correspondence that is no longer needed.

When you apply

The application form asks for your name, work email, company, team size, intended workflows and a short description of your work. Our website backend forwards your application to info@kantona.ee and sends a demo invitation to the email you provide through Infonet’s mail service. We use this information to handle your request and discuss a possible business relationship. Applying does not create a production account or start a paid plan.

The invitation contains a signed access link, valid for seven days. The link opens an isolated dashboard with fictional records; it does not provide access to customer data. Its host uses a secure, HTTP-only access cookie for sessions lasting up to two hours, limited by the invitation expiry. This cookie is necessary to provide the requested demo access. Delivery metadata, invitation identifiers and salted hashes used for retries and abuse prevention are kept in private storage for up to 30 days and pruned when later applications are processed. A separate copy of your application text is not stored there; it remains in business email under the correspondence retention criteria above.

Website operation

The site is hosted by Infonet in Estonia. Hosting systems process technical request information, which can include an IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and errors, to deliver and protect the website. This supports our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure service. The current hosting configuration rotates logs daily and retains ten archived logs; access to operational logs is limited to website administration and the hosting provider.

To prevent abuse and duplicate messages, the website backend keeps delivery references, request fingerprints and salted hashes of network and email identifiers in private server storage. It does not keep a separate copy of your message text there. Rate-limit history older than one hour and delivery metadata older than 30 days are removed when subsequent enquiries are processed. Enquiries themselves are held in our business email under the correspondence retention criteria above.

The marketing pages do not install advertising or analytics trackers. Fonts and artwork are served with the site. The invited dashboard uses fictional data and is hosted on our isolated VPS environment. Saving and live actions are disabled. The calculator runs in your browser. Sharing an estimate link includes your selected modules and quantities in its URL, which may appear in hosting request logs; do not put personal information in these links.

Dashboard and external services

Apply now opens the website application form. Sign in takes existing customers to the Kantona application on a separate address. The demo invitation opens a separate isolated dashboard; it is protected by the access cookie described above. Production application pages have their own session cookies, account functions and data flows. This notice describes the marketing site, its applications and its fictional demo; it does not claim that the production application stores no information. If you contact us using an ordinary email link instead, your own email provider also handles that message under its terms and privacy information.

Your choices and rights

You can contact info@kantona.ee to ask what personal information we hold, request a copy or correction, or request deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing where those rights apply. We may need enough information to confirm your identity. You may also raise a concern with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate at aki.ee.
